Don’t take a gamble in a recession!
more and more companies are looking to take the safer route...
It’s all over the news and the papers. You can’t go a day without hearing; Britain is in a recession... But what can companies do to help navigate their business through the financial storm?
Bucks Biz Space.co.uk have seen an increase in rentals recently which they are saying is down to the recession. “The increase we have seen I believe is not only because we offer month to month leases on serviced offices, but we also cater for expanding businesses. That works two ways, a company could rent a 50 person office from us and with one months notice downsize to a 2 person office should their business model change, or vice-versa. This is something businesses are finding more and more appealing.” says Steve Tearle of Bucks Biz Business Centres, MK:TWO Branch.
“Also we are finding more and more start up companies who ordinarily use a home office, rent an office within one of our centres” he continues “small business owners have worked out the maths and decided by renting a serviced office you’re actually better off, especially when it comes to tax”.
Speaking to M-CAT Solutions Ltd who specialise in business revive services, director Aaron Dominic had this to say “We are recommending more and more companies move to business centres. They offer a much safer option in times where quite frankly companies are surviving month to month. If you think about it, the business has to be put first; and for the companies that are struggling, redundancies are the only option if the business is to survive. However the less you are paying in rent and services such as telecommunications, internet etc the less cut backs that company would have to make. Possibly enough to save a valued member of staffs job! That coupled with no long lease, no dilapidation costs which could run into the thousands - it is the safest move, further more it offers peace of mind”.
So we ask are business centres the way forward? Are they a safer bet during a recession? We would have to say yes. Especially when you start to notice the larger long term established limited companies and plc’s are making more and more use of business centres across the country.
But if you’re still not convinced Bucks Biz Business Centres are offering some very attractive reasons to rent from them. Such as: instant occupation, 24 hour access, no legal fees, no service charge, fully inclusive monthly rent, reduced broadband and telecommunication costs, security patrols and individual alarms to all units, no exterior dilapidation cost and ample free parking to name but a few.
So if you are want a little security in these uncertain times moving your company to a business centre could prove the safest bet to survive this recession.
